Cotton scarves: Some color fading is normal during the first wash, which is related to the scarf's quality. It's best to add some salt to the water when washing a cotton scarf for the first time to prevent fading.
Silk scarves: Dissolve soap in water first. The water temperature should not be too high; it should feel warm to the touch. Then, gently hand-wash the silk scarf. Avoid vigorous rubbing and do not machine wash directly, as this can easily deform and damage the silk. After washing, be sure to rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all soap residue.

Scarves made of pure or blended synthetic fibers: Never soak these scarves in boiling water. These chemical fibers cannot withstand the temperature of boiling water and often shrink and deform due to excessive heat, damaging their original shape and affecting their elasticity.
