For blankets made of animal fibers such as wool:

Hand wash: Soak the blanket in cold water for a while until fully wet. Then gently squeeze out some of the water, apply soap, and gently rub with your hands. Do not wring the blanket dry; squeeze out the water by hand to avoid deformation. Finally, place the blanket in a cool, shaded place to air dry, avoiding direct sunlight to prevent fading and hardening.

Dry cleaning: If possible, take it to a professional dry cleaner to better protect the blanket's texture and extend its lifespan.

For blankets made of synthetic fibers:

Hand wash: Use warm water (20-30 degrees Celsius), add a suitable amount of mild laundry detergent or special detergent, and soak the blanket completely for about 30 minutes. Gently rub by hand, especially in heavily stained areas. Then gently squeeze out the water, avoiding wringing, and lay flat to air dry in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Machine wash: When washing in a washing machine, first place the blanket in a laundry bag, select a gentle wash cycle, use a mild detergent, and avoid using bleach or strong acidic detergents. After washing, air dry or tumble dry on a low temperature.
